2026 Scholarship Winners |
Tylee is a Wickenburg High School Senior who plans on continuing her education at Rio Salado Community College to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Tylee attended AmericaFest in 2025 where she was influenced by speakers such as Erica Kirk, Brandon Tatum, and Riley Gaines. She attended Charlie Kirk's memorial which made an impact on her she will never forget. Tylee noted that her group left at 2:00 am and stood in line for over eight hours with thousands of people who were both respectful to each other and peaceful. She also noted how powerful it was to see so many people come together to honor Charlie Kirk's impact. Tylee shared her experience on social media which started conversations with friends and family from different states which opened discussions about faith, values, and current events. |
Sara is a Senior at Wickenburg Christian Academy who is planning on attending Glendale Community College and pursue a degree in Business where she wants to apply her knowledge to run and grow an art business. By painting and selling her art, she has learned discipline, independence, and the value of hard work. Sara believes that patriotism and conservatism is demonstrated "...through service, responsibility, faith, and dedication to one's community." She notes that these "values are not only expressed through words, but through everyday actions that strengthen the people and communities around us." Sara attends Lighthouse Bible Church in Yarnell where she believes her faith has played a major role in shaping her beliefs in service, responsibility, and helping others. |
Jenny is a recent graduate of Liberty University Online Academy where she carried a 4.12 Grade Point Average. She has been accepted at and will attend Grand Canyon University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration. Jenny has an impressive amount of Community Service hours where she has, according to her volleyball coach, demonstrated some of the most impressive leadership skills. Over the last 24 months, Jenny has volunteered 204 hours of her time in various roles. As a preschool worker she helped lead lessons and activities. She has participated in mission trips where she washed cars and performed yard work at a community center in Utah. She went to Nairobi, Kenya where she supported Junior High and High School church camp, spent a day helping a family with a special needs child, and brought the gospel to people in the area. She has also supported local storm clean up activities, helped out as an assistant volleyball coach, helped out with children's church and kids camps, and supported, where ever needed, children's soccer activities. |
Violet is a recent graduate of Liberty University Online Academy and plans to attend the University of North Dakota where she is planning to receive her degree in Commercial Aviation as she plans on becoming an airline pilot. Violet spends much of her time in support of K-8th grade students while working as an Assistant Teacher for Quiet Right Educational Services. Over the past year, the school has participated in several projects centered around America’s 250th anniversary allowing students to reflect on history while contributing to something lasting. A couple of memorable projects included a time capsule (to be opened in 75 years) and a patchwork American flag (the schools contribution will be combined with others across the country to form one unified flag, symbolizing collaborating and patriotism). Violet was asked this year to sing the National Anthem during her school's home volleyball games. In addition, she sang the National Anthem at the school's Veteran's Day memorial service that brings together students, staff, veterans, and community members to honor those who have served our country. |
Madison is graduate of Wickenburg High School where she was the Student Body Secretary and participated with student leadership activities and in Future Business Leaders of America. She has been accepted to Northwestern Christian College in Orange City, IA where she plans on studying Physical Therapy and minor in Political Science. Madison wants to use her voice to be an active member in society and preserve the conservative movement by raising awareness. Madison believes that the conservative movement inspires young people to fight for what they believe in. She believes a conservative lifestyle means preserving the rule of law that was established 200 years ago. She is a patriot who embraces being a part of this wonderful country. |
Hayden Rush, $1,500 - Hayden is a student at Sunrise Mountain High School who will graduate in May of 2029. He joined TARS in 2024 and is the State Vice Chair, West Valley Member. Hayden plans on using some of the awarded scholarship to attend the National Leadership Convention in Washington, D.C. for Teen Aged Republicans. Any remaining funds will be saved for college in support of his long term goal of ultimately attending law school. Anya Wright, $750 - Anya is a home schooled high school student who expects to graduate in 2030. She is an active member of the Yuma TARS and an associate member of RWOW. After high school she is planning on going to a local college and will eventually transfer to a university. Anya recently volunteered at the Lincoln Day Dinner fundraiser hosted by the Yuma County Republican Party where she was able to meet and talk to Republican elected officials and candidates. Caleb Wright, $750 - Caleb is a home schooled high school student with a expected graduation in 2028. He is an active member of the Yuma TARS, though he can not yet vote, he participates in elections through door-to-door knocking, handing out pamphlets, attending candidate events, and signature vetting at the County Recorders Office. Caleb plans on using his scholarship money for educational trips to Washington, D.C. and Japan, and vocational training. Caleb has interests in public speaking, music, technology (coding), and wants to be an Entrepreneur. He is also considering enlistment in the military. |
Denise has been involved with Wickenburg Republican women since 2023 where she served as the RWOW President. Under her guidance, the club has grown into what it is today with increased membership and positive local outreach. Denise has, and continues to participate in local, state, and national Republican women's conferences and training. She remains a member of RWOW attending all meetings in addition to taking on the role of AZFRW Second Vice-President in charge of state Membership. With an election upon us, Denise plans on continuing her efforts to get-out-the-vote through door knocking, phone calls, texting, and post card writing. Her long-term goals include increasing the AZFRW membership to 3,000 members and she would like to serve as a committee member within the Arizona Department of Education; utilizing her 30 year background in education to improve the Arizona State education system. |
